Linea
A line, then a circle of stone.
Linea is a round marble side table carried on a slim lacquered aluminium stem, the metal painted to set off each stone. We keep it the lightest of the side tables, an upright line holding a disc of marble out over a narrow base, so it slips in beside a chair or a bed without taking much room. We choose the lacquer colour against the stone, the cool metal against the warmth of the top.
We cut the aluminium structure to a tight precision and lacquer it, then bring the round top up to an open-pore honed matte by hand. The stem is deliberately narrow, so the disc of stone is what you notice.

- Travertine
- A warm cream to beige stone, open-pored, with characteristic veining and small mineral inclusions, on a sand-toned lacquered stem.
- Nero Marquina
- A deep black marble with fine white veining, a crisp contrast over the slim metal.
- Calacatta Viola
- Deep aubergine and black veins drifting across a white ground, no two slabs alike, the colour left to carry the piece.
- Black Travertine
- Warm browns and greys through to black, open-pored, its veining and mineral marks giving the top texture.

Is the Linea a light side table?
Yes. At around nine kilograms it is the lightest of the side tables, a slim aluminium stem carrying a round marble top, so it is easy to move where you need it.
