Bubble
Two materials that should not get along.
Bubble is a side table built from a marble top and base with a hand-blown glass body held between them. We let the stone give it weight and the glass take that weight away again, so the marble reads as if it were floating on a held breath. It works as a side table or a small stand, wherever you want a piece that is part furniture, part object.
We have the glass body blown by hand, so the soft trapped air inside falls a little differently on every one, and we finish the marble in a honed matte that keeps the colour deep rather than glossy. We tone the glass to the stone, graphite, bottle green or clear.

- Nero Marquina
- A deep black marble with fine white veining, paired here with a graphite-toned glass body so the two darks sit together.
- Green Guatemala
- A deep green marble with darker green veining, set on a bottle-green glass body that picks up the colour of the stone.
- Travertine
- A warm cream to beige stone, open-pored, with characteristic veining and small mineral inclusions, lifted on a clear glass body that lets the air bubbles show.

What is the Bubble made of?
A marble top and base in honed natural stone, with a hand-blown glass body between them. The glass is toned to the stone in each version.
Is the glass really hand-blown?
Yes. The glass body is blown by hand by glass craftsmen, so the air trapped inside it falls differently on every piece.
Which stones can I choose?
Nero Marquina with a graphite glass body, Green Guatemala with a bottle-green body, or Travertine with a clear body.
