Caibro

Caibro is a side table built from solid offcuts of stone and wood, travertine columns capped in oak and set at different heights, so the block never reads as a single mass. We have also made it with an Estremoz marble base and a Stonesis top, the version we took to Milan.

It is the first piece two of our designers drew together, and it began with the solid pieces that two industries, stone and wood, leave over at the end of a job. We cut each piece to its own length and fit the oak into the steps of the stone, so the meeting of the two materials is the whole design. It comes in one size, and other sizes are made to measure on request.
