Half
Half a circle, all of the stone.
Half is a side table with a half-moon stone top carried on a lacquered aluminium base, the metal colour chosen to set off each stone. We cut the top straight on one side so it stands flat against a wall or a sofa, taking up half the footprint of a round table while holding the full presence of the stone. We build it solid and grounded, a piece with real weight that stays where you put it.
We cut the aluminium structure to a tight precision and lacquer it, then finish the stone top by hand in a honed matte. We pair the metal and the stone so neither one fights the other.

- Travertine
- A warm cream to beige stone, open-pored, with characteristic veining and small mineral inclusions, on a sand-toned lacquered base.
- Nero Marquina
- A deep black marble with fine white veining, a high-contrast top against the lacquered metal.
- Black Travertine
- Warm browns and greys through to black, open-pored, its texture giving the top depth and movement.
- Calacatta Viola
- Deep aubergine and black veins drifting across a white ground, no two slabs alike, on a blue-toned lacquered base.

What shape is the Half?

It is a solid, grounded piece with real weight, made to stay in place. The aluminium base keeps it stable rather than light.
