Stonesis is MAAMI HOME's sustainability programme. Every piece we produce generates stone waste: offcuts, fragments, imperfect blocks. Instead of discarding them, we transform them into new objects.
The result is unique pieces where the material's imperfection becomes its expressive strength. Every Stonesis object carries the story of the piece that gave it life.
Stonesis pieces are produced in very limited series. Because no two fragments are the same, no two Stonesis objects are ever identical. Each carries a certificate of origin linking it to the original production piece.
Nothing Is Wasted
Every stone block we cut leaves fragments of material that carry the same geological history as the piece itself. Stonesis is the programme that gives those fragments a second life.
Imperfection as Character
The cracks, the unexpected veins, the irregular edges. In Stonesis, these are not defects. They are the signature of the original block, the mark of authenticity that makes each piece irreplaceable.
Circular by Design
A Stonesis object does not begin with a design brief. It begins with a fragment. Form follows material, not the other way around. This reversal is at the heart of the programme.
