Quina Dining Table

Quina is a dining table built on a Spider Grey marble base, the stone webbed with pale veins that spread across a dark grey ground like a spider's web. We read each slab and set the cut so the webbing runs the way we want across the base, then machine it from our own programming and finish it by hand in a honed matte. A tempered glass top sits over it, so the marble structure stays in full view from above.

We keep the glass clear and let the base carry the table, both to look at and to hold the weight. It comes round to seat four or square to seat six, the same webbed stone under either top.
