Nordic Stand-Alone Metal
A washbasin with a drawer wide enough to lose things in.
Nordic Metal is a freestanding marble washbasin from the Nordic collection, the basin cut with soft, rounded lines and set on a walnut cabinet over lacquered-metal feet. We gave it one large drawer wide enough to actually lose things in, and left a surface around the basin for the everyday clutter. The rounded cavity is the signature of the whole Nordic family.
We machine the basin from a single block of stone, running our own programming, then finish it by hand in a honed matte. The cabinet is walnut and the feet are gun-metal lacquered with a satin finish. Gris Alvito is the standard stone, with other stones and finishes on request.

Freestanding. It stands on a walnut cabinet and lacquered-metal feet, with one large drawer.
What stone is it?
Gris Alvito as standard, with other stones and finishes available on request. The basin is carved from a single block.
Does the Nordic Metal need sealing?
Yes. The Nordic Metal basin is carved from natural stone, so it should be sealed on installation and resealed periodically to protect it from water and staining.
What tap setup does it take?
The Nordic Metal takes a wall-mounted tap, since the basin keeps a clean surface with no deck tap hole.
How does it drain?
Through a waste in the basin that runs down through the cabinet and metal feet to the floor outlet.
