Nordic Stand-Alone
Stone and bamboo, in the wettest room in the house.
Nordic Wood is a freestanding washbasin that pairs Kunis Brescia marble with sustainable bamboo, with two roomy drawers underneath. We chose bamboo on purpose, a fast-renewing material to put next to the stone, so the piece earns its storage without leaning on hardwood. It is part of the Nordic collection.
We machine the basin from a single block, running our own programming, then finish it by hand in a honed matte. The cabinet is built in bamboo from sustainably managed sources, and because we let the grain show, each one comes out a little different.

Yes. The Nordic Wood basin is carved from natural marble, so it should be sealed on installation and resealed periodically to protect the stone from water and staining.

The Nordic Wood takes a wall-mounted tap, since the basin keeps a clean stone surface with no deck tap hole.
How does it drain?
Through a waste in the basin that runs down through the bamboo cabinet to the floor outlet.
