Kata Noi
The basin and its top, cut from the same block of stone.
Kata Noi is a wall-mounted washbasin carved in Carrara, set on a walnut cabinet whose top is cut from the same stone as the basin. We cut the basin and its top from the same block so the two read as one continuous piece of marble over the wood, rather than a bowl dropped onto a slab. It also comes in Kunis Brescia with an oak cabinet and oak-veneer structure, part of the Kata collection.
We machine the basin from a single block, running our own programming, then finish it by hand in a honed matte. The matching top is cut to sit over the walnut cabinet, and because it comes from the same stone the veining carries straight across.

The Kata Noi takes a wall-mounted tap, since the basin and matching stone top are kept clean with no deck tap hole.
How does it drain?
The basin drains through a standard waste into the plumbing concealed behind the wall-mounted cabinet.
