Grammi
Ten drawers, four of which you would never guess are there.
Grammi is a long sideboard of straight, square lines holding ten drawers, four of them hidden inside. We chose the wood surface to sit quietly with the marble, over a slim steel base. It is built for a lot of storage that does not announce itself, four of the drawers you would never guess are there.
We veneer the walnut body over a wood structure and varnish it to keep the natural tone, then finish the marble fronts to a polished shine. The steel base we laser-cut and coat in a textured dark paint. The marble we machine from our own programming and bring back by hand, so the polish sits even across every front.
