Sharp stone edges, a wood frame, a drawer lined in leather.
Draft Desk is a marble-topped desk with straight, pronounced stone edges on a solid-wood frame, with no metal in it. We set the sharp, cut edge of the marble against the wood, and line the drawer in leather, a detail you only find once you open it. It moves between an office and a living room without looking out of place in either.
We build the frame in solid wood with traditional Portuguese joinery. The top we machine from the block and square off the edges, then finish it back by hand to a honed matte, and we line the drawer with a Maami Home leather liner.

- A warm-hued stone with characteristic veining and mineral fragments, on a natural oak frame.

- A grey marble with contrasting dark grey and white web-like veining, on a solid walnut frame for a quieter, contemporary top.
