Essaouira
A shower floor carved from a single slab of Carrara.
Essaouira is a Carrara marble shower tray with an integrated drainage system, carved from a single slab and ready to install. We bring the same stone you would put on a washbasin down to the floor of the shower, and cut each tray to your measurements rather than to a fixed size.
We machine the tray from stone using our own programming, then finish it by hand in a honed matte, with the fall and the drain worked into the form so the water finds the outlet on its own.

Does the Essaouira include drainage?
Yes. It comes with an integrated water drainage system and is ready for installation.
Can it be made to my size?
The standard size is 130 by 80 cm, and it is customisable to your measurements.

Carrara marble.
Does the Essaouira need sealing?
Yes. The Essaouira is carved from natural Carrara marble, so it should be sealed on installation and resealed periodically to protect the stone in a wet area.
How does the Essaouira drain?
Through an integrated water drainage system carved into the tray, with the floor falling towards the outlet, so it is ready to connect to the waste below.
Which shower fittings does it take?
The Essaouira is a floor tray and pairs with wall-mounted or ceiling shower fittings; the tap and shower head are not part of the tray.
