Bouvet Desk
A desk you would not mind leaving out in the living room.
Bouvet Desk is a working desk in marble, wood and metal, made plain enough to be the centre of a workspace and finished well enough to sit in a living room or a studio. We build in two drawers under a marble top and let the stone do the talking.
We build the body in oak with traditional Portuguese joinery on a laser-cut steel base. The top we machine from the block, then finish back by hand to a honed matte, which is where the hours go.

- A black marble with deep gold and white veining for a darker, stronger top.
