Bouvet Console

Three materials, two drawers, one place by the door.
Bouvet Console is a two-drawer console that brings marble, wood and metal together in simple lines, made for a room or the entrance hall. We built it to hold the everyday, keys and a bowl and a framed photo, and let the marble top set the tone above the two drawers.
We build the body in wood with traditional Portuguese joinery on a laser-cut base, machine the top from the block, then finish it back by hand to suit each stone. We pick the wood and the metal finish to sit with the marble above them, so the pairing shifts from one stone to the next.
