Bari
Marble that follows the evening from room to room.
Bari is a bar trolley with marble shelves on a lacquered-iron frame, made to roll from room to room for serving or display. We cut the shelves from Pocahontas marble, read the block so the warm grain runs the length of each one, then finish the edges by hand where the machine leaves off. We set them on a slim lacquered-iron frame we build to stay out of the way, so a working piece of furniture carries itself like a still one.
The shelves are machined from our own programming, the frame is lacquered iron, and the whole thing runs on wheels so a heavy stone piece still moves when you need it to.
