Atomo
Ten stone spheres, holding up a single sheet of glass.
Atomo is a footed centrepiece built from ten marble spheres, each turned and finished by hand, carrying a curved glass plate blown by a local glassmaker. We turn the spheres on the lathe and bring each one true by hand, then pick the ten so their tones read together, and set the blown-glass plate on top. It can hold a cake, candles, perfumes or simply stand on its own. Because we choose every sphere for its veining, no two Atomo come out alike.
