Navagio
Travertine that looks like it is floating on the wall.
Navagio is a wall-mounted travertine washbasin with simple lines and a deliberate visual lightness, lined with an oak or palisander wood veneer. We kept the walls thin and the corners tight so the piece reads as if it is floating on the wall rather than sitting on it. It is meant to hold a calm, quiet corner of the bathroom.
Unlike the single-block basins we carve, here we mitre-cut the travertine and glue it at the corners, then line it with wood veneer. That is what lets the walls stay slim and the whole thing feel light.

The Navagio takes a wall-mounted tap, since the basin keeps a clean stone surface with no deck tap hole.
How does it drain?
Through a waste in the basin that runs into the plumbing concealed behind the wall-mounted cabinet.
