Tassa
A stone bowl, set on top of the counter.
Tassa is a natural stone countertop washbasin in a classic rounded bowl shape, made to sit on top of a counter. It first came out of a London commission and has stayed one of the centrepieces of the collection ever since, plain enough to suit almost any bathroom and customisable to the stone you choose.
We machine the bowl from stone using our own programming, then the hours go into the finish, worked by hand in a honed matte. You choose the marble and we cut each one to it.

How does the Tassa sit?
It is a countertop (vessel) basin, a rounded stone bowl that rests on top of a counter.
Can the Tassa be customised?
Yes. It is machine-cut then hand-finished, and customisable in the stone you choose.
Does the Tassa need sealing?
Yes. The Tassa is carved from natural stone, so it should be sealed on installation and resealed periodically to protect it from water and staining.
What tap setup does it take?
The Tassa is a countertop bowl with no integrated tap hole, so it pairs with a wall-mounted tap or a tall deck-mounted basin tap on the counter beside it.
How does it drain?
Through a standard countertop-basin waste in the base of the bowl, connected to the plumbing below the counter.
Who designed the Tassa?
The Tassa was designed by the TCC Whitestone Industrial Design Studio, in 2017.
