mini Fiore
A light that leaves the room when you do.
The mini Fiore is a cordless, rechargeable table lamp with a shade cut from natural stone. It began as a smaller Fiore, our award-winning lamp, brought down to a size you can carry in one hand. We made it the first portable piece in the Maami Home collection, a small architectural object that pairs colourful marble with a turned aluminium base.
Marble is usually spoken of in whites, greys and blacks. We widen that palette, from forest greens to midnight blacks, cutting each top from natural stone so no two are alike. The shade is shaped on the 5-axis machine we program and finished by hand, then set on a base we turn from aluminium. It charges over USB-C, the same cable as the rest of your devices, and follows you from a book at night to an evening outside. For hotels and restaurants, a six-unit dock brings a whole set back to life at once.
By stone
- White
- The mini Fiore White is cut from Arabescato, a white marble with soft, flowing grey veining. Its turned aluminium base is left in a natural raw finish, so the metal stays quiet under the stone.
- Grey
- The mini Fiore Grey is topped with Grigio Nuvolato, a grey marble with soft cloud-like veining. The aluminium base carries the same tone, so stone and metal read as one piece.
- Yellow
- The mini Fiore Yellow is crowned with Amarelo Negrais, a marble quarried in Portugal that runs from soft beige through vivid yellow to golden veins. Its coated aluminium base is finished in a matching tone, so stone and metal read as a single piece.
- Beige
- The mini Fiore Beige is cut from Travertine Noce, a warm brown travertine, open-pored, with the soft banding that runs through the stone. Its coated aluminium base picks up the same earthy tone.
- Black
- The mini Fiore Black is topped with Rosso Levanto, on a coated aluminium base.
- Green
- The mini Fiore Green is topped with Green Guatemala, on a coated aluminium base.
Good to know
Is the mini Fiore cordless?
Yes. It is cordless and rechargeable, and it charges over a standard USB-C cable, the same one you use for your other devices.
Does the light pass through the stone?
No. The stone shade directs the light over the surface below it. The marble itself does not glow from within.
Which stones can I choose?
Six tops: White in Arabescato, Black in Rosso Levanto, Grey in Grigio Nuvolato, Green in Green Guatemala, Yellow in Amarelo Negrais (quarried in Portugal), and Beige in Travertine Noce. Each shade is cut from natural stone, so no two are identical.
Who designed it, and has it won anything?
It was designed by Fábio Teixeira and won an Archiproducts Design Award in 2024. It is the portable evolution of the Fiore lamp.
